What is an .rru file?
A Universal page saved as one file: a zip package with the page layout, each block’s content, and the original Word, Excel, PowerPoint or PDF file where there is one. The sample page with five blocks is about 75 KB.
Can someone without the app open my page?
They need RR Universal Office to open the page itself. You can always save any block out as a normal Word, Excel, PowerPoint or PDF file and send that instead.
Do my Office files change when I put them on a page?
No. Spreadsheets and presentations keep their original .xlsx and .pptx inside the page, so charts, masters and layouts come back out when you save them again.
Is this a separate app?
No. Documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDFs and Universal pages are all part of RR Universal Office. One licence opens every one of them.
Can I try it first?
